What is an animal that is strong, yet kind and soft? I am planning on getting a tattoo.?

I am thinking about getting a tattoo (just a small one). I want this tattoo to mean something to me, and I would like to get an animal that represents me. So far, I thought about getting a zuni-looking bear, although I know that they’re not exactly kind, but they are soft and strong. What are some other animals that could fit my criteria?

A tiger definately. Tigers are the bigest cats on earth, but a I really thought the Idea of a horse fit the description well too.
