What is the best clay to use to make beads, with young kids?
We are planning to make our own beads with our brownie scouts, and only sculpey comes to mind. I’m worried it is too hard for little 6-year-old hands to soften. Would salt-dough be strong enough, in my experience it breaks/cracks so easily…. Also, can I have them skewer their beads, then bake them like that? Will they stick? All help/ideas appreciated! : )
