Feng Shui’s Wealth Vase
If you are currently applying feng shui into your life, the wealth vase is one object that you might consider acquiring. You can purchase it almost anywhere and have it customized, but it is said that creating your own vase is better.
Ever since, many cultures like Tibet, Greece and India have benefited from the use of the wealth vase. At the counsel of their Buddhist Deity, the Tibetan people crafted wealth boxes or Yang Kam to attract wealth for the advancement of Tibetan Buddhism.

If you choose to make your own wealth vase, there are two main factors that you need to consider: the vase itself, what it’s made of and how valuable it is and the objects inside the vase.
The form of the vase can be made of metal like gold, silver, brass and copper or of earthen material like clay, porcelain and crystal. It doesn’t have to be that expensive, like solid gold. A plated one can do; what’s important is how valuable it is. Antique vase for example can be made out of porcelain. As for its shape, it is said that the wider the opening, the better. If possible, find a vase that is wider at the bottom, like an hourglass.
You should by now ready the things to leave in the vase. These are Chinese coins, foreign money, semi-precious stones and gems, and soil from your rich friend’s garden or front yard. These colors include blue, green, yellow, red and white. As for which color goes on top, it will depend on the element mentioned earlier.
What would be the best location for placement of a wealth vase? Place a vase made of metal in areas in your home that is governed the feng shui elements of metal and water. You must also hide the vase from the eyes of others. Put the vase in a closet, in a hidden part of your bedroom but never facing any entry way because your wealth will tend to go out. On New Year’s Day, carry it to your home exterior. Just for wiping you can take it out of your home but do not unwrap it.
