Does anyone know the origin of the MOLAS art form from Colombia ?

I know that the MOLA comes from Panama, but in Colombia there is a distinctive form of molas that I am particularly interested in. I think these panels are absolutley stunning.

Excuse me, but molas are from Panama and the ones they sell in Colombia are from Panama too.
There is a very very very small comunity of kuna indians that live in the colombian side, but most of all, they come from Panama.
