hi, can I roll up an old very large oil painting for transportation and if so how?? please?
I have a very large old oil painting and i need to roll it up to take with me and i hope someone can advise me how.

Buy a long box that art supply stores would carry that can be used to store paintings without damage. They are internally lined with felt or other material to protect your painting and also use a lining of cartridge paper on both sides before you roll up the painting.
Then, simple, carry it along as hand/on flight baggage.
