Juban Kimono
where can I find cheap furisode kimono set (obi, juban, zori e.t.c.) to order online?
I ‘ve been checking yamatoku but I can’t find something that is of my interest and those that I like seem to be a little expensive or damaged… so if there is any site that you know please share with me! (note: the page must be in english because I can’t understand japanese…)
It kind of depends on how cheap you want, and how much damage you’re willing to accept. Second-hand kimono almost ALWAYS have some kind of damage, and those that don’t are typically very expensive. The same goes for the accessories appropriate for a furisode. You can try Ichiroya or Ryu Japan/Shinei, or if you actually know what you’re looking for you could try your luck on eBay, but how successful you are is going to depend a lot on your expectations for prices and amount of damage.
