Japanese Lunch

Looking for a good Japanese dish (Lunch or dinner) that an Amateur cook can make without much difficulty.?
I have some experience in a kitchen but my skills are a bit rusty. I have never made any Japanese dishes before and am looking for something fun to try that will feed 3-5 people. Any thoughts?
