When sandblasting painted concrete inside a building what precautions and equipment do you recommend?
Protective gear, grit… etc.
I am not a sand blast expert, but with my limited knowledge and understanding of the risks, I recommend wearing a full face shield and hood, heavy protective clothing and a respirator. Some old paints have lead and other toxins, not to mention the sand and concrete dust. Silica (sand dust) is deadly. Protect yourself.
