Successful Performance Of Pattaya Florist In The 2010 Chelsea Garden Flower Show
Nongnuch Botanical Garden won the esteemed Asian Culture and Plants Gold Medal in the 2010 Chelsea Garden Flower exhibition. The announcement was done by the Nongnuch Garden Director Dr. Kamphon Tonsatja who revealed that a Pattaya florist had gained the prestigious award. The floristry association of Thailand had been delighted by the statement and there are intentions to present again at next years exhibition. This was Thailand’s first entry into the competition and Thai folks were extremely happy to have earned the Gold Medal at this prestigious show.
The floral show was developed to highlight the various and exciting tradition of Thailand. The flower arrangement contains several valuable Buddhist statues plus a Spirit House, flanked by some of the lovely vegetation which are indigenous to Thailand and other parts of South East Asia. The flower arrangement manifested Thailand’s culture, heritage and customs with various parts of the flower arrangement symbolizing the various aspects of Thai life and calendar.
The award was presented to by the RHS, the Royal Horticultural Society which was established over 200 years ago. The RHS is the supporter of The Chelsea Flower Show, one of the globe’s premier flower exhibitions.
Associates of the British Monarchy mentioned on Thailand’s show and said it was a lively showcase of flowers and an unbelievable showcase of tropical plants and statues.
The top temple in Pattaya has made the decision to have the flower showcase returned to Thailand where it will be used as part of the ornamentation for the day time call to prayer for the monks. The flowers is going to be refreshed every day. The gold medal is currently being displayed in Pattaya at the Nongnuch Gardens.
The Nonnuch flower garden is a lovely oasis of vegetation, tropical ferns and palms and a place for Pattaya florists to present their beautiful flower arrangements. Some other attractions of the Nongnuch Gardens include Thai culture performances, elephant shows, water activies, strolling and jogging.
