An old Chinese(?) remedy?
When I had a bruise, or when my head/stomach hurt, my grandma would do a weird thing.
She put a ring (copper? I’m not sure what it’s made of) into a cooked egg.
She wrapped the egg in a thin towel, and rubbed the place where it hurt with the egg.
The weird thing is, it worked. My bruise would soon disappear, and my head/stomach would stop hurting.
When she took the ring out of the egg, it was a dark, purplish color.
Any ideas on how/why this works?
Of course the bruise will disappear – they always do.
Eggs and rings do not do a thing.
