Safari Holiday Gadgets You Just Don’t Need
We were set a challenge by the guys at www.africasky.co.uk to find some cool and useful gadgets that people could use and benefit from on their safari holidays.
After a brief trawl of the internet, we came across the above piece of video on youtube.com where we found 2 guys talking about the kind of gadgets that we were lookin g for.
In their report they include 5 great gadgets as follows:

Firstly, we thought, ‘great – job done!’ then we decided to be a bit daft and find some slightly wackier camping gadgets that would be fun, but completely unnecessary for safari holidays.
Here follows our list:

The Beer Belly
Retailing at around £20, The Beer Belly is a useful piece of kit if you want to have a sneaky alcoholic beverage or if you just can’t be bothered to hold a cup in your hands. Always helpful when busy trying to saddle up an elephant.
Might make you feel a bit like a marcupial as you carry your pouch down under. When filled with liquid it swells, giving you the appearance of having a beer belly. Find the straw like contraption and you’ve found the drinking part of this crazy gadget!
Pen Fishing Rod
The best thing about the Pen Fishing Rod is that it is not even a pen!Extending like an aerial, this gadget turns from a pen-shaped thing into a sleek fishing road. However, I doubt that this piece of kit will be particularly robust if you end up entangled with crocodiles whilst fishing on the Nile.
Handspresso Personal Portable Espresso Maker
When feeling the call from the wild, you never know when the urge for a coffee may take you. Always a must if on safari in Kenya. Always take your own coffee making facilities.
Spot GPS Device
Always keep a handy supply of Spot GPS Devices to throw for wild beast to eat.It is always useful to know where animals that can eat you are hiding.

Waste not want not - If you find some leftover meat from the big cats supper, why not test it to ensure it does not contain and bacteria not good fro human consumption. All good? Time to cook a Bar-B-Q!
