Is my pond ok? Anyone have any opinions?
For school, I have been asked to “design a pond” and the organisms in/ by the pond.
So far my plants are: cattails, pine trees, aspen trees, arrowheads, sweet flag grass, iris, frog bit, pondweeds, hardy lillies, and peatbogs.
My animals are: White Tailed Deer, mallard duck, milk snake, painted turtle, large mouth bass, and northern leapord pond.
I was thinking my pond is located in the lower mountain areas of Colorado maybe… does this sound like it would be located somewhere else? Is it possible that all these organisms could live relatively close together? I know its a long list but if you have any input it would be super happy thanks

It’s a good start. Now, start thinking about what the animals are going to eat and supply those.
